Get Involved!

One of the most valuable assets you possess is your time. Whether going to class, studying, working, attending events, or socializing with other students and friends, activities play a key role in your success and enjoyment of college. YVC offers many clubs and student organizations to help students get involved on campus.

Student government offices on both the Yakima and Grandview campuses offer students the opportunity to lead and help ensure that all YVC students have a voice. Help make decisions by participating with ASYVC in Yakima or GSC on the Grandview Campus.

The Student Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity for students who are dedicated to serving and representing YVC. Student Ambassadors provide campus tours, serve as a YVC representative and perform duties at various YVC campus and community events.

Student Life and Government Mission

All registered YVC students are part of the ASYVC. The structure of the ASYVC Student Government consists of two branches: The Executive – Yakima and Grandview Student Councils and the Legislative – voting members of the ASYVC Senate.

The success of the ASYVC depends on the exchange of ideas, a strong commitment to representing the student voice, and ensuring that student issues and concerns are heard.
