No matter where you’re going, Yakima Valley College is the place to start. With our many academic options, you can earn the training, degree, or certificate you need to get a great job, or you can earn credits that transfer to a four-year university.

Get Registered

Ready to register for classes? Follow the steps below to prepare for your registration date and time and ensure you get the classes you need. Your registration depends on paying your fees on time. Once it’s your registration date, go to Student Portal to sign up for your classes.

Paying for College

It costs less than you think. YVC participates in most federal and state aid programs as well as offers institutional financial aid programs. Be sure to submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for aid. Scholarships are available offered.

Students typically hear back a few days after submitting the application fee. If it has been longer than a week, check with admissions to verify your payment has been received.

Yakima Valley College (YVC) is committed to an open-door policy and encourages the use of its postsecondary educational opportunities and services by the whole community. All community members, whether or not they possess a high school diploma, may enroll at the college without regard for their past educational record. The chief criterion is that every applicant can benefit from college programs.

No. The Office of Registration & Records cannot extend any student’s tuition due date.
