Student Life Activities

Student Life at YVC includes many regular activities planned for YVC ​students. The ASYVC office hires Directors of Student Programs (or student program directors) specifically for the purpose of planning and producing activities for students.

Clubs

Athletics

The mission of intercollegiate athletics is to provide competitive sports programs for our students that develop their skills, abilities, leadership, teamwork, and self-discipline. Athletics can also provide preparation for potential career opportunities in teaching and coaching and provide a foundation for lifelong recreational interests. In addition, intercollegiate athletics provide opportunities for some student-athletes to continue their education at four-year institutions.

The program adds to student life and is a source of entertainment, camaraderie and community pride. The athletic programs offered at YVC include:
