Pottery Sale coming May 23

Yakima Valley College is pleased to announce David Morales and Laura Flores have been appointed to YVC’s Board of Trustees. Morales is a farmworker rights attorney at Northwest Justice Project and Flores serves on the Grandview City Council and owns a human resource consulting firm.
The Larson Gallery will present the annual Yakima Valley College Department of Visual Arts (DoVA) exhibition from April 30 through May 25. This annual exhibit presents artwork in a variety of media created within the last year by students.
Yakima Valley College’s enrollment gains this academic year have continued into Spring Quarter 2024 with an enrollment increase of 11% compared to Spring 2023.
Community members are invited to attend YVC’s Surplus Sale, taking place Friday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Yakima Valley College Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combos will perform with the Three Rivers Community Orchestra and renowned Los Angeles-based trombone player and recording artist Francisco Torres on Monday, April 15, at 7 p.m. in the Eisenhower High School Auditorium.
YVC hosts additional financial aid workshops this spring to help students and their families complete the FAFSA or WASFA. Tamales will be available to those participating in the workshops.
