Conference and Event Spaces

Yakima Valley College has a space to meet your needs. YVC allows outside entities to request the use of college facilities on both the Yakima and Grandview campuses in accordance with policy 3.02 Facilities Use.

The Kaminski Conference Center on the Yakima Campus offers a variety of options from small group meeting rooms to large scale events. The state-of-the art facility includes a catering kitchen, outdoor event garden, the latest technology, and convenient parking and more.

YVC offers the use of classrooms, computer labs, and outdoor spaces for rental on both the Yakima and Grandview campuses. There are several multipurpose rooms that are ideal spaces for lectures or banquets.

We encourage you to contact the Customer Service Specialist for the Conference Center to request an in person tour of the facility.

External Groups

Non-YVC groups hosting events/activities on campus have the flexibility to select food service vendors that are not on YVC’s Approved Food Service Vendor List. 

Campus Departments/Programs

Employees who are requesting food service to be paid for out of a YVC budget must complete the meals with meetings form and obtain authorization prior to purchasing food for scheduled events, per YVC Administrative Procedure 1.40 Meals with Meetings. Selection of a food service vendor must be from YVC’s   Approved Food Service Vendor List. If your requested food service provider is not already on YVC’s list you may contact the Purchasing Department to learn more about the process for getting new vendors added.
