Board given deed to campus

Members of Yakima Valley Junior College Board are presented with the deed to the proposed college campus on Sixteenth and Lenox, which was given by Shirley Parker in tribute to his mother, A. E. Larson.

In the center Parker is shown presenting the deed to F. M. Raymond, president of the college’s board of trustees. Others in the picture, from left to right are Larson, in whose name the gift was presented; Dr. Holland Wight of the college board; Eleanor Parker; Dr. W. F. Clarke of the board; Grover Burrows and Walter Tuesley, both board members; Elizabeth Prior, dean of the college; and Ray Glenn, also a trustee. The picture was taken on the veranda of the Larson home in 1937.
