Kids getting fitted for bike helmets — On April 18, the Yaks baseball passed out over 100 free recycled bikes to kids in need in the community. The team partnered with the Kiwanis Club for the second year in a row, helping kids pick out which bike was perfect for them. "Kids that are getting bikes are happy and then our guys can kind of be kids again too riding the bikes around, and it's just a good time. A lot of smiles," YVC baseball coach Cash Ulrich told KIMA News. Each kid also received a helmet and goody bag to go along with their bike.
