Patrick participates in TBEX North America 2023
This past July, Business Administration Instructor Eric Patrick, who teaches both BA 156 Marketing and BA 170 Intro to Advertising was one of the speakers at the 2023 North American TBEX event, held in Eau Claire, Wis. TBEX is billed as the largest conference and community of travel creators and influencers in the world.
Patrick spoke on strategies tailored for small-town Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) such as Union Gap, where he serves as tourism director, aiming to maximize their impact with limited budgets and attract travel content providers. TBEX brought together DMOs of various sizes, not only from North America but also from across the globe. Joining them were prominent bloggers and travel creators, creating a valuable forum for connecting with content providers.
Patrick appreciated presenting Union Gap to global travel experts from across North America and beyond. He said connections have already been made with multiple content providers, with at least one slated to visit Union Gap in October to capture the excitement of several Union Gap events.
