MEChA club participates in peace march

Members of YVC’s Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA) Club participate in an MLK Peach March in 2000 honoring the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The MEChA Club worked to promote higher education, political involvement, cultural and historical understanding. MEChA students supported each other academically, and helped guide each other during social and emotional challenges they faced as students.
