The Fall 2021 quarter saw more activity on Yakima Valley College’s Yakima and Grandview campuses, including the resumption of student services and welcoming additional classes back in person. YVC’s CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program) hosted drive-through College/Resource Fairs October 20 on both the Yakima and Grandview campuses to connect CAMP Scholars, YVC students and local high school students with representatives from colleges and universities.

COVID testing sign in parking lot
Starting August 30, Yakima Valley College has served as a community test site for COVID cases in partnership with the University of Washington, Yakima Valley Memorial and Signal Health. The YVC site has averaged more than 600 daily tests at times and the college will host the test site through the end of fall quarter.
