SPOKANE, Wash. — Chelsey Nill scored 22 points to lead Yakima Valley past Spokane 78-65 on Wednesday night to complete a perfect Eastern Region season for the Yaks.

Ladie Yaks sweep CBC, secure East crown
PASCO — Chelsey Nill scored 15 points to lead a balanced Yakima Valley attack as the Yaks beat Columbia Basin 76-64 on Saturday and clinched their third Eastern Region championship in the last four years.

Wednesday night in Sherar Gym, however, Yakima Valley’s frontrunning women sweated several bullets and dodged numerous others, using two monstrous plays from Kaitlin McBride for  an 80-78 squeaker.
