Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Service Technology
Aaron Lee was born and raised in the Seattle area, and graduated from Ballard High School. In the fall of 2008 he and his wife moved to the Yakima Valley with the goal of starting a family. He worked at Starbucks and Community Living for a couple of years, but soon realized he wanted more. Having a love of automobiles and working on cars, Aaron decided to pursue this passion and enrolled in YVC’s Automotive Service Technology Program. During his coursework, Lee also found time to participate in the student Automotive Technology Club. He served two quarters as their treasurer. “I choose YVC’s Automotive Service Technology because of the state-of-the-art equipment, small class size, and program material,” stated Lee. “The instructors are great, and really know their stuff. Overall, I think YVC’s program did a good job of preparing me to enter the workforce,” he concluded. Aaron graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Service Technology degree. He currently works at KARS Kinmark Auto and RV Service in Yakima, Washington. He hopes to continue to develop his trade and perhaps one-day open his own service shop.
