SRC Important Information 2023-2024

Submit Student Residence Center (SRC) application, agreements, and $350 deposit (mail a check or money order).
Room Preference
Room assignments are not contingent on the day you check into the SRC but are based on the date you paid your $350.00 housing deposit. Room preferences are on a “first-come, first-serve” basis, availability, and deposit date.
Check-In Dates
SRC Housing Manual: Check-In 2.3: “Individuals that do not meet the SRC’s established quarterly check-in will wait until the next quarter [or check-in date] to move in.” In order for the housing staff to process check-ins, all applications and deposits need to be submitted by quarterly application deadlines (listed below).

Check-In Details
Complete online orientation before check-in. Fill out and submit the survey with your check-in date at least 7 days before the actual check-in. Arrive on that day and time. Allow time to check in and get to the Cashier. See Cashier hours vary see Current Services for hours. Receive bill on check-in day (Pay bill within 5 days).

Prorated Calculations
Example: If I checked into a large room on September 15th then I would have to pay $54.00 (4 days x $13.50 prorated daily) for September 15th to September 18th and $157.00 (set amount) from
September 19th (first day of classes & fall quarter) to September 30th for a total of $211.00 See prorated monthly amt.
Financial Aid Example
If students are receiving financial aid (loans, grants, scholarships, etc.) the aid will be applied starting the first day of the corresponding quarter. So, in this example checking in on September 16th, you would pay out of pocket from September 16th to September 20th. If you are receiving aid it would only be applied to days after the start of the quarter (September 21st) as funding is available. See appendix-housing payments & fees for further details.
Please note: The Housing Office will not hold payment due pending receipt of earnings, income or financial aid.
