Winter Advising Days – February 2-9, 2021

What to expect during Winter Advising Days

Yakima Valley College is providing mandatory advising via phone and email for students with less than 30 college-level credits.

Your advisor will call or email you to schedule an advising time before February 2, 2021, to arrange with students times, and methods to meet (usually by phone or Zoom meeting). If your advisor has to leave you a voicemail or email, please respond promptly.

Students: Please confirm your contact information is up to date in your student profile. Visit the Student Portal to view your profile and update your phone or email address if needed.

Don’t know who your advisor is? Your pathway advisor is listed in your Student Portal. If you are still unsure who your advisor is, do not hear from your advisor, or have more questions, please contact the Counseling & Advising Center by phone at 509.574.4956, or by email at counseling@yvcc.edu.

Advising is not mandatory for students that have more than 30 college-level credits (100 level and above).
