Dear students,

This quarter, Yakima Valley College will change our student technology and data systems to ctcLink, which will replace existing systems on our student portal. While we’ve all grown accustomed to our current system, it uses outdated technology that doesn’t offer the integrated online services you need. Our new system, ctcLink, offers many services online in a mobile-friendly way.

This email is the first in a series of emails you will receive with information about our move to ctcLink. We ask you to please pay close attention to the information in these emails, as this transition will affect every student attending YVC.

Following are important upcoming dates for you to keep in mind.

Keep Watching Your Email for More Important Information
Look for regular email updates as we get closer to our “go live” date of Monday, May 9, 2022.

We’ll work to keep you informed of the things you’ll need to do and the important dates when services may not be available due to the transition. We’ll also let you know about online information sessions we’re planning that will help answer questions and guide you through the transition to ctcLink.

While we understand moving to a new system may cause some frustration at first, we hope you will be patient with everyone as we learn this system together.
