Yakima, WA – Yakima Valley College’s Faculty Lecture Series returns on February 7, 2018 with David Lynx, and Dr. Timothy Jeske. During their lecture, Pilgrimage to India, Lynx and Jeske will share experiences from a recent trip to India. The free event will be held at 7:00pm in Kendall Hall, Building 9, Auditorium.

In December 2016, instructors David Lynx and Dr. Timothy Jeske flew to India to visit the four pilgrimage sites associated with the Buddha. What they encountered was a myriad of religions, including Sikh, Muslim, Jain, Bahá’í, and various Hindu faiths.  The experience of visiting the country and building new friendships became, for them, a journey of enlightenment.
