YVC’s Running Start Program Offers Information Nights for Local High School Students

Yakima, WA – Yakima Valley College’s Running Start Program will host Information Nights for current high school sophomores and juniors and their parents. The meetings will take place in local area high schools and at YVC’s Yakima Campus. Please see the table below for a list of upcoming information sessions. The Running Start Program offers eligible high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to enroll in college classes at YVC’s Yakima and Grandview campuses and receive both high school and college credit.

Running Start Students can:

  • Get a head start on college
  • Attend classes full- or part-time
  • Select and sample diverse classes
  • Transition to college life
