Last Stand: The Vanishing Caribou Rainforest is a journey into the tragically threatened world of endangered mountain caribou, their home in the world’s largest remaining inland temperate rainforest, and the critical human choices that will ultimately decide the fate of this stunning ecosystem. The film follows the small herd of mountain caribou that live in the mountains on either side of the border between Northeast Washington and British Columbia. These magnificent animals cling to existence, despite facing many threats, perilously close to becoming extinct.
