Jazz groups take the stage March 11
The Yakima Valley College Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combos will perform on Monday, March 11, at 7:00 p.m. under the direction of Director of Jazz Studies Jeffrey Smith. The performance includes music by Christine Jensen, Radiohead, Mike Tomaro and more.
Yakima Valley College offers Flagger Certification Trainings
Yakima Valley College announces upcoming Flagger Certification Trainings on March 8, April 12 and May 17. The one-day trainings provide certification for work zone traffic control flaggers. The tuition fee of $65 includes a flagger handbook, classroom instruction and the opportunity to take the Washington State certification exam.

Drama program presents 2024 Festival of New Works
Yakima Valley College’s Playmasters presents original short plays written by YVC students. The event will include two original plays, “Memento Mori,” written by YVC student Matt Blanchard and “Heaven’s little Gay-ngel,” written by YVC student.
