Grape to Glass Gala

Winemaker’s Dinner and Silent Auction

Save the Date – Saturday May 16, 2020

Location: Yakima Valley College Activity Center on the Grandview Campus

The annual Grape to Glass Gala will include a Winemaker’s Dinner paired with Yakima Valley Vintners’ wines, a silent auction, music and dancing. Proceeds will benefit student scholarships for the Vineyard & Winery Technology Program. The Gala is also a way to celebrate the success of graduates from the program who are working in the grape and wine industry. Join us to celebrate their success as we showcase the work they are doing with local employers.

Yakima Valley Vintners, YVC’s teaching winery, is located on the YVC Grandview Campus. The facility offers students studying in the college’s Vineyard & Winery Technology Program the opportunity for hands-on technical training in the area of viticulture and enology.

Being a recipient of these scholarships has been a blessing for me. Throughout my entire time at YVC, I have been able to be a full time student and have not had to worry about my funding. This allowed me to focus on getting the most out of my studies, which I needed some quarters more than others. I am very grateful for the Grape to Glass Gala Silent Auction and Winemakers Dinner, and the scholarship it creates for students like myself. I hope this event will continue to provide students with the same opportunity I have been given for years to come.”
