Job Description
Small family-owned winery in search of a few awesome part-time people to add to our tasting room staff…i.e., our family! We are looking for people who are awesome, fun, engaging, outgoing, and eager to educate our tasting room guests and club members about our estate winery and vineyards. Wine knowledge is a plus but a willingness to learn, have fun, and get more awesome is required! As is the nature of wine-tasting, this gig involves part-time weekends and the occasional evening. It’s worth it, we promise!
Responsibilities
- Be an awesome human
- Ensure our guests and club members have the best tasting room experience ever
- Communicate our story and educate customers about our estate wines
- Drive wine sales and promote our wine club
- Help organize and work special events (may require some schedule flexibility)
- Stock merchandise and supplies as needed
- Opening and closing duties
- Assist Tasting Room Manager with various projects as needed
Working Conditions
Two Mountain Winery is a working winery meaning our tasting room is adjacent to our production facility and vineyards. You may occasionally have to look out for forklifts and other equipment as well as the wine-covered cellar crew. We have anywhere from 1-3 friendly winery dogs on premise at any time that are not your responsibility, but who may try to weasel their way into your heart. We offer seated tastings both indoors and outside in the warmer weather.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must be 21
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Class 12 MAST permit
- Must possess or be able to obtain a food handler permit
- Be excellent at multitasking…aka herding cats (and actual dogs) on busy tasting room days
- Hold high quality standards for hospitality and service
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Able to stand for long periods
- Work with a sense of urgency
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Team player
- Self-starter with a great attitude

- Base hourly rate of $16/hr + tips and incentives
