Assistant Winemaker and Cellar position at Wilridge Winery

Are you truly passionate about wine? Is lifestyle more important to you than money? Are you ready to learn from two winemakers with over 40 years of experience in the Washington State wine industry? Wilridge Vineyard, Winery & Distillery has an amazing opportunity for the right person. Is that person you?

Yes, you have to be willing to work dawn to dusk during harvest, lift fifty pounds, pick grapes, drive a forklift, run the lab, keep immaculate records, clean the still, taste lots of wine and brandy, be a team player, have a thick skin, sense of humor, etc., etc. — all the usual stuff and everything else. No task too big or too small. Prior winemaking experience beneficial. Enology degree preferred. Wine sales experience is a plus. Graphic design and web skills are a bonus. Demonstrated love of Eastern Washington necessary.

Wilridge is the first certified Organic and Biodynamic vineyard, winery & distillery in Washington State. We started the first winery in Seattle in 1988 and have been having fun ever since. We started our tasting room in Pike Place Market in 1998, planted our estate vineyard with 22 grape varieties on Naches Heights near Yakima in 2007, launched our brandy distillery in 2017, and opened a tasting room in Woodinville this year. You will be working at our Naches Heights vineyard, winery and distillery.
