  • Explore the navigation menu of the tour (upper right corner) to visit various buildings and access important links.
    Click and drag within any room to view it in 360°.
  • To walk through the tour, click once on the area you want to go to. You can also use the Floor Selector and Floor Plan tools at the bottom of the screen to visit a specific space.
  • Look for red “hotspots” within each space that you can click on to learn more about our academic programs and student services or see additional videos and photos.
  • For a guided tour, click the small “Play” button in the lower left-hand corner. You can use the same button to pause at any time.

Yakima Campus – S.16th Ave & Nob Hill Blvd.

Yakima Valley College’s beautiful campus features numerous new or recently renovated learning spaces, along with comfortable spaces for students to participate in student clubs and extra-curricular activities.

Our virtual tour features several of our busiest buildings, including Palmer Martin Hall (home to many of our arts and humanities classes), Glenn Anthon Hall (where many of our science classes take place), and Hopf Union Building.

In addition, our tour features YVC’s recently completed West Campus, the new home of our Allied Health programs, Larson Gallery, conference center, and a new Tasting Room for Yakima Valley Vintners – YVC’s Teaching Winery.

  • Allied Health and Conference Center

Allied Health Building & Conference Center

Students in YVC’s Allied Health programs learn in state-of-the-art spaces that mimic real-life health care settings in their new space at West Campus, which opened in 2021. West Campus is also home to a conference and events center designed to accommodate a range of gatherings, including an outdoor event garden space.

  • Deccio lobby

Deccio Higher Education Center

Numerous student services are offered in Deccio Higher Education Center, including admissions, class registration and financial aid. The building also houses offices for YVC partner schools, including Central Washington University and Heritage University, where students can transfer to complete their 4-year degree.

Glenn Anthon Hall

Glenn Anthon Hall is home to many classes in Arts & Sciences and academic support through the college’s Math Center and Writing Center. Spacious lounges on the first and second floors provide comfortable spaces for individual and group studying along with excellent views of the North Campus Commons.

  • HUB Diversity Center

Hopf Union Building (HUB)

The HUB is the heart of student life on the Yakima Campus, including student government offices, the Diversity Welcome Center, YVC Book Store and Yak Grab N’ Go Marketplace offering convenient food and beverage options. Whether participating in a student event, studying or taking a break with friends, the HUB is the place to be.

  • Tasting Room

Larson Gallery & Yakima Valley Vintners Tasting Room

Award-winning wines produced by students in YVC’s Vineyard and Winery Technology Program will be available for tasting and purchase in an elegant new space connected to Larson Gallery, one of the Yakima Valley’s premier destinations to enjoy the visual arts. Adjacent is an Outdoor Sculpture Garden where visitors can enjoy art and gather with friends while enjoying a glass of wine.

  • Palmer Martin Hall

Palmer Martin Hall

Palmer Martin Hall houses courses in humanities, modern languages, visual arts and more. Students can also find assistance in becoming better speakers and presenters through services offered at the Speech and Language Center. The building, designed for environmental sustainability, also offers multiple spaces for group and individual studying.

  • Raymond Library

Raymond Hall

Raymond Hall is home to the college’s library and research support services for students, along with free assistance in a variety of academic subjects through YVC’s Tutoring Center. Students have access to a variety of spaces for individual quiet study or group projects, while the Media Center provides a variety of media resources as well as laptop and hotspot loans.

  • Fitness Center

Sherar Gymnasium

The Yaks athletics program — offering six men’s and women’s sports competing in the Northwest Athletic Conference — is based in Sherar Gymnasium along with physical education courses. All YVC students also have access to a state-of-the-art Fitness Center to support their health and wellness goals.

Grandview Campus – 500 W. Main Street

Located in the lower Yakima Valley, the Grandview Campus provides comprehensive educational services to students living or working within the southern portion of YVC’s service district.

Our virtual tour features facilities including a workforce education building, recently renovated classrooms and labs, and comfortable spaces where students study and engage in extra-curricular activities. Grandview campus is also home to our teaching winery and houses the original tasting room for  Yakima Valley Vintners.

The Grandview Campus also hosts a wide array of student services including advising, financial aid, admission, registration, disability support, placement services, library services, a tutoring center and computer lab.

Grandview Main Building

Grandview Main hosts several classrooms and a complete array of student services including admission, registration, advising, financial aid, disability support, and more. A renovation project completed in 2021 updated lab spaces used for biology, chemistry, geology, and art courses, as well as a distance learning classroom and computer lab. The building houses a tutoring center and study/social spaces, with library services available in the adjacent City of Grandview/YVC Library.

Student Activity Center

The Student Activity Center is the hub for a variety of student gatherings on the Grandview Campus. It houses Student Life & Government offices, including the Grandview Student Council, as well as offices for YVC programs such as Running Start for area high school students, CAMP for migrant and seasonal farm-working students, and WorkFirst for TANF recipients who desire assistance in preparing for in-demand, high-wage jobs.

Workforce Education Center

The Workforce Education Center houses hands-on learning and classroom spaces for YVC’s winery and vineyard technology and allied health programs, as well as courses in agriculture, early childhood education, elementary education, business, criminal justice and other vocational programs. A tasting room operated by the college’s teaching winery, Yakima Valley Vintners, also is located here.
