Yakima Valley Community College  uses an application for email and text messaging alerts in the event of emergencies and weather closures. It is called RAVE.

Students and employees accounts are activated with the default setting that sends you messages to the email account you have on file with YVCC. If you prefer to receive a text message to your cellphone, you can log in and add your number. This is a secure service that will not sell your personal information.
