Counseling & Advising Center
Services are free and available to students Monday – Friday, 9am - 3pm.
No appointment is necessary and all students will be seen in a timely manner.
Services available through the Counseling and Advising Center include:
Academic Advising - degree options and requirements, selecting classes, developing a schedule
Study Skills - note taking, test preparation, time management, tutoring center resources
Career Planning – researching careers and choosing a degree or certificate
Career Assessments - WOIS Career Information System and TypeFocus Personality Assessment
Student Development Courses - classes focused on study skills, career planning, and student success
Transfer Information - degree options; application requirements, procedures and deadlines
Career Preparation - job search, resumes and cover letters, interview techniques
Personal Counseling - short term counseling for matters affecting your wellbeing and success
