Dr. Scott
Peterson is Director of Choral Activities at Yakima Valley
Community College where he conducts the YVCC Concert Choir
and Chamber Singers. He also teaches Music Appreciation and
history classes. He is active on the professional scene as
well and is Chorusmaster of the Yakima Symphony Chorus and
Chamber Singers. He is also a member of Male Ensemble
Northwest, a professional singing group composed of all
choral conductors from the Pacific Northwest region. He
also conducts the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival Chamber
Chorale in Alaska in July.

Mr. David Blink is the Director of Instrumental Music and Jazz Studies at Yakima Valley Community College. Currently he directs the award winning YVCC Jazz Ensemble and Jazz combos and teaches Music Theory, Aural Skills, History of Jazz and Rock and Roll Courses. Mr. Blink has also taught music courses with Walla Walla Community College and the Yakima School District. Mr. Blink is also an active trumpet player and composer. As a composer, his works have been performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Scotland), International New Music Festival (Las Vegas, NV), Society of Composers Inc. Regional Conference (Ellensburg, WA), and for a commercial aired during the 2004 Super Bowl. |
