Testing Information for Previous Examinees
Attend an Orientation session!
All new examinees, examinees that have tested at another college or examinees that have not tested for over a year, must attend an orientation session. Orientations are held most Mondays at 12:00PM and 2:00PM in room 126 at the Deccio building. The session may take up to 45 min. No late arrivals will be admitted.

Bring the following with you to Orientation
- Official government issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID card, military ID or passport
- $75 Non-refundable test fee (must be paid for entrance to orientation). This includes payment vouchers
- Age Waiver (under 19)
Between 16-18 years of age:
Print the Age Waiver form

Take this form to your resident high school/district where you live and have an official sign the release.

PREVIOUS EXAMINEES
GED Testing is held most Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 and 12:30.
Students who have tested with YVCC in the last year may call 574-4738 to schedule an appointment. New students, students who have tested at another college or students who have not tested in over a year must attend a mandatory orientation session.
The GED office is closed the 1st 2 weeks of December and the 1st 2 weeks of July each year.
