Program Description
|
|
The phrase “high tech” has been
tossed around in engineering circles for the past several
years, bringing to mind images of super computers, lasers and
robotics. Plenty!
|
|
Today, civil engineering
technicians (CET) and construction design technicians (CDT)
are applying computers, global positioning systems, satellite
imaging, geographic information systems, and other high-tech
developments to every aspect of their work in research,
design, construction , and management. This application
of high technology is evident in the CET and CDT programs at
Yakima Valley Community College.
