Counseling & Advising
Advising at Yakima Valley Community College is to assist you in making the best possible choices that will help you reach your academic goals. All students are assigned a faculty advisor based on the area of interest indicated on the application. Students should meet with their advisor each quarter to develop a plan for their education and to ensure that they are on the right track for graduation. You may change your advisor at any time by completing a Change of Advisor form available in the admissions office or in the counseling center.
Advising is available by appointment to assist you with advising questions. Call (509) 882-7000 to schedule an appointment.
