Tech Prep is a dual-credit program that provides an opportunity for students to receive free college credit for taking qualified courses while still in high school.

The Yakima Valley Tech Prep Consortium includes Yakima Valley Community College, fourteen upper and lower valley school districts, and the Yakima Valley Technical Skills Center.
Electronic Grade Transmittal Processing allows teachers in the Consortium to electronically send information about students to the Tech Prep office at YVCC.
