YVFWC AmeriCorps accepting Applications!
Actively seeking High School/GED graduates, college students/graduates, and retirees who are bilingual Spanish/English and interested in health field and the underserved populations.  Learn and earn 9-12 months of experience in health education, leadership skills, patient relations, and community health.  Positions will be serving in an assistant capacity in the areas of asthma, diabetes, benefit enrollment and literacy programs.  If eligible, you will receive a living allowance, training, health insurance, and an education award upon completion of program. 1st –Ever Combined Healthcare Informatics Meeting
(health information / clinical information / medical informatics)

Meeting Information: As encouraged by the state board, we are beginning to consolidate healthcare informatics advisory boards. North Seattle and Bellevue Community College have just done so. We hope to encourage all state programs to do the same. The idea is to meet once annually for a very high level advisory session focusing on sector and hiring trends. Colleges will also have two virtual meetings per year with their “delegate” members for program – specific questions and information exchange.
