The YVCC Bookstore, centrally located south of the Hopf Union Building, is owned and operated by Yakima Valley Community College.

Business Hours

Yakima Campus
Our normal business hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.  Wednesday through Friday we are open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

During Book Rush, the first two weeks of the quarter our hours are as follows:

Week 1:  Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Week 2:  Monday and Tuesday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Grandview Campus

First Two Weeks: Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Thereafter: Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Summer Hours

Monday through Thursday - 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Closed on Friday

The bookstore provides required and recommended textbooks, a full selection of school supplies, reference materials, study aids, and academic computer software. In addition, general books, snack items, gifts, greeting cards, and imprinted clothing are available.

Textbook Refund/Textbook Buy-back

• Refunds on textbooks are processed during the first week of each quarter, with bookstore receipt and book in original condition..
• Textbook buy-back is conducted on the Yakima campus during final-exam week of each quarter. No receipt required. On Grandview Campus, call (509) 882-7022.
