WENATCHEE- Yakima Valley's soccer team scored first but couldn't hold off Wenatchee Valley in an NWAACC match Saturday on the Knights' field.

Jessica Davis knocked in YVCC's lone goal on  a penalty kick in the 18th minute.  But Wenatchee's Allie Garcia took a pass from Sunnyside graduate Yanet Candido in the 62nd minute to secure a 1-1 tie.

YVCC (3-6-3 in league play) defeated Wenatchee 6-2 earler this season.   Elida Licea made six saves for the Yaks.
