The student services coordinator plans, coordinates, and carries out all student services required at the Grandview Campus, including serving as advisor to the Grandview Student Council. The coordinator reports directly to the dean for the Grandview Campus and collaborates with the dean for the Grandview Campus to ensure efficient and effective service to students at the campus.

Grandview Student Council (GSC) Officers are elected each spring. Staff positions are hired in the fall. The 2006-2007 Officers and Staff are listed below.

President
Alex Hecker

The President is responsible for the management of GSC operations, implementations of policies, and working cooperatively in the best interest of the students with the faculty, administration, staff, and Board of Trustees. She/he keeps the Cabinet aware of what other institutions and organizations that relate to higher education are doing around the state.

Vice President

The Vice President serves as acting President in the absence of the President. She/he coordinates activities with the Student Programmers and develops and maintains a calendar of events for YVCC GC students.
