  • Last day to DROP a Class
    Course Does Not Appear on Transcript if you drop your class. No Signature Required
  • Last Day to add with Signature
    If you need another class you MUST get Instructor’s signature & turn in your Add/Drop form

  • Fall Transfer Fair from 9am - 1pm HUB
    Come check out different colleges you can transfer to from YVCC!

    ASYVCC Club Representatives and Executive board meet for their weekly Senate Meeting

OCTOBER 15

  • Health Fair from 10am-1pm HUB
    Come see the free health information by various health organizations around the community!
  • National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD)
    Mecha and Title V are co-sponsoring NLAAD (with Planned Parenthood) to perform 200 free HIV tests. The tests are mouth swabs (no blood or needles used) and takes about 1 minute to do.

OCTOBER 16

  • Submission deadline November/December "The YAK"
    If you have an announcement or birthday shout out to put in the YAK turn it in by 2pm to Axel Isabane in the Student Life Office

  • Larson Gallery Exhibit-Layered Histories Closing reception 5:30-8 pm
    Larson Gallery hosts Layered Histories, a unique exhibition that explores how memory plays a role in the making of art—featuring the work of two women artists whose lives are rooted in Eastern Washington: Lynda K. Rockwood and Gail Grinnell. Both artists use a wide range of materials including bronze, hydro-stone, fossils, silk, polyester, paper and wood. Both artists will discuss their work at

    Learn more about what it’s like to have a disability, and how to help others with disabilities
  • Piano recital by professional pianist Luis Esteban Cruzaley
    Maestro Cruzaley will be in Yakima. The recital will be in the Kendall Hall Auditorium on Thursday, Oct. 30 beginning at 7:30pm, no admission charge
