Revisions

Some students experience significant changes in circumstances after the end of the base-year reported on the FAFSA.

Visit this information so you can obtain your Revision request form and loan request forms, and Enrollment revision adjustment form, which would help to accommodate your changes.

SATISFACTORY ACADEMIC PROGRESS

At YVCC, financial aid is awarded to students based on full-time enrollment, 12 or more credits per quarter. Adjustments are made for less than full time enrollment based on Enrollment Revision Forms or after the 2nd week of students are eligible at fewer credits.

To meet college-wide Academic Progress Standards, you must achieve at least a 67% pace of progression and be able to complete your academic program within 150% of the standard length of the program

Verification

Verification is a process by which the financial aid office confirms your eligibility by verifying certain data elements that are key to assessing your financial need.

Eligible students who submit all required documents in early spring have access to the most funding and generally know their aid eligibility by the Fall Quarter.
