Scholarship amount: up to $3000 PER YEAR for a two year college or up to $7,500 PER YEAR for a four-year college or university which is renewable for additional years in the college or university after graduation.

The Rotary Club of Yakima Vocational Scholarship Application
The Rotary Club of Yakima will be awarding vocational scholarships for the 2015-16 school year. The scholarship is open to both traditional and non-traditional vocational students. Students must be enrolled in a post-high school vocational institute or 2-year terminal vocational program at a community college within one year of the scholarship being awarded. Completion of the vocational program must result in a degree or certification in that vocation. The criteria upon which the award will be based are quality of the vocational training plans, commitment to the plan, financial need and progress toward career goals. Students are eligible for subsequent awards but must reapply each year.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is February 17, 2015. Based on a review of the application, some students will be invited to interview on the afternoon of April 13th. The students selected for scholarships will be guests of Rotary at a noon luncheon on Thursday, April 23, 2015.

Washington Wine Industry Foundation Scholarships
Each year the Washington Wine Industry Foundation offers four scholarship to students in Viticulture and Enology Programs. The deadline for applying for these scholarships is March 15th, 2015.

Washington state opportunity Scholarships
Apply Online by March 2, 2015
The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS) supports low- and middle-income students pursuing eligible high-demand majors in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) or health care and encourages recipients to work in Washington State once they complete their degrees. Students must meet additional eligibility criteria.
• Annual award amount: $2,500 - $7,500 depending on class standing
• Renewable for up to five years based on credits completed and continued eligibility
• Approximately 750 applicants will selected for 2015-2016
The application for 2015-16 is now available on the WSOS website, with a deadline of March 2, 2015.
Eligible STEM majors include a majority of Agriculture disciplines, such as Horticultural Science, Plant Sciences, Animal Sciences, among many others. See the list for available majors.

YVCC Foundation Scholarship
The Yakima Valley Community College Foundation scholarship applications are now available for the 2015-2016 academic year. Applications can be picked up in person on the Yakima Campus in Prior Hall Annex room 113, at the student information desk in the HUB, or in the Financial Aid Office. Applications are available online at www.yvcc.edu/foundation. Submission deadline is March 13, 2015.
Incorporated in July 1977 the Foundation's primary goal is to provide scholarships for students. They award over $200,000 in scholarships annually. In the past 37 years the Foundation has helped students accomplish their goals by awarding over 4,500 scholarships totaling more than $4 million.

YVCC Vineyard and Winery Technology Scholarship
The YVCC Vineyard and Winery has over $8,000 in scholarship money that is available to part-time and full-time students for Winter quarter 2015 and Spring quarter 2015, who are pursuing a degree in Vineyard Technology or Winery Technology.
The Scholarship money comes from our annual Grape to Glass Gala fundraiser, as well as from the Yakima Enological Society.
American Society for Enology and Viticulture Scholarship
We will accept scholarship applications until December 10, 2014. Scholarship awards will range from $250-$1,500 and be announced on or before December 16, 2014.
American Society for Enology and Viticulture annually awards numerous scholarships to students pursuing a degree in enology, viticulture, or in a curriculum emphasizing a science basic to the wine and grape industry. This scholarship is for all undergraduate and graduate students accepted into a full-time accredited four year college or university program. Great opportunity if you are transferring to WSU or other accredited college or universities. Application deadline is March 1, 2014.

Washington State Grape Society Scholarship
The Washington State Grape Society is proud to offer a scholarship to a deserving person who is engaged in a field of study relating to the growing of grapes. This scholarship is open to students enrolled in any Washington State accredited institute of higher learning studying in viticulture/enology and is targeted towards graduate students. Undergraduates may also apply.

Rhone Rangers Grant
Over the last decade the Rhone Rangers have awarded thousands of dollars in grants to deserving students in accredited viticulture and enology programs.
