YVCC Vineyard and Winery Technology Scholarship

The YVCC Vineyard and Winery has over $8,000 in scholarship money that is available to part-time and full-time students for Winter quarter 2015 and Spring quarter 2015, who are pursuing a degree in Vineyard Technology or Winery Technology.

The Scholarship money comes from our annual Grape to Glass Gala fundraiser, as well as from the Yakima Enological Society.

We will accept scholarship applications until December 10, 2014. Scholarship awards will range from $250-$1,500 and be announced on or before December 16, 2014.

YVCC Foundation Scholarship

YVCC's Foundation offer many scholarships each year to students enrolled at Yakima Valley Community College.  Scholarship amounts vary depending on specific scholarship.  Scholarship applications must be submitted no later than March 15​​, 2014.


Washington Wine Industry Foundation Scholarships

 

Each year the Washington Wine Industry Foundation offers four scholarship to students in Viticulture and Enology Programs.  The deadline for applying for these scholarships is June 1, 2014.


Mary Monroe Davis Scholarship (Yakima Rotary Trust)

Scholarship amount: up to $7,500 PER YEAR which is renewable for additional years in the university after graduation.
Application deadline: Scholarship applications must be submitted no later than February 13, 2014. If you have any questions or problems in completing the application for this scholarship, please contact Dr. Kaminski at 509-574-4635 or lkaminski@yvcc.edu. 

 

American Society for Enology and Viticulture Scholarship

American Society for Enology and Viticulture annually awards numerous scholarships to students pursuing a degree in enology, viticulture, or in a curriculum emphasizing a science basic to the wine and grape industry. This scholarship is for all undergraduate and graduate students accepted into a full-time accredited four year college or university program. Great opportunity if you are transferring to WSU or other accredited college or universities. Application deadline is March 1, 2014​.

 

CHS Foundation Scholarship

CHS is a leading global agribusiness owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives across the United States. Diversified in energy, grains and foods, we’re committed to helping our customers, farmer-owners and other stakeholders grow their businesses through our domestic and global operations. CHS offers scholarships to high school seniors, first year community college students and 4 year college students. Application deadline is March ​15, 2014.


 

The Rotary Club of Yakima Vocational Scholarship Application

 
The Rotary Club of Yakima will be awarding up to $30,000 in vocational scholarships for the 2013-14 school year. The scholarship is open to both traditional and non-traditional vocational students. Eligible candidates include students who will or are currently attending Perry Technical Institute; graduating high school students from Davis, East Valley, Eisenhower, Highland, LaSalle, Naches Valley, Selah, Riverside Christian, YV Tech, Stanton Academy and Yakima On-Line; and students who will or are currently attending Heritage University or YVCC in pursuit of a vocational education.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is March 4, 2013. Winners will be guest of Rotary at a noon luncheon on Thursday, April 11, 2013. Payment of the scholarship will be made upon proof of enrollment and after July 1, 2013.

Washington State Grape Society Scholarship

The Washington State Grape Society is proud to offer a scholarship to a deserving person who is engaged in a field of study relating to the growing of grapes. This scholarship is open to students enrolled in any Washington State accredited institute of higher learning studying in viticulture/enology and is targeted towards graduate students. Undergraduates may also apply.

The deadline for receiving applications is April 15, 2013
 

Rhone Rangers Grant

Over the last decade the Rhone Rangers have awarded thousands of dollars in grants to deserving students in accredited viticulture and enology programs.
