MSDNAA provides YVCC Information and Business Technology faculty and students with the ability to obtain Microsoft software to install on their personal computers. 

Microsoft Office is not included in this agreement.

 

Software available for download from e-academy:

      You download this software at home on your computer.

      You need a CD burner and a blank CD.

      CDs are shipped to you and a credit card is required.

Procedure Notes:

  • We no longer offer CD’s for checkout.
  • Technical support concerning installation and troubleshooting is NOT provided with this agreement or by the IT Department.
  • All accounts must be reactivated quarterly.

 

How do I start?  Starting on Monday, October 13, you can pick up the MSDNAA Student Use Guidelines (green sheet) and the MSDNAA Software Procedures (orange sheet) from the brochure rack on the wall opposite of the door to T200.  Please pick up BOTH the green and orange sheets and read all of the information carefully as it answers many frequently asked questions. 

 

Important Dates:

Applications will be accepted starting Monday, October 13

The last day applications will be accepted is Friday, November 14

 

NOTE:  We are pleased that we can further enhance your educational experience by making this free/ridiculously low cost software available to you.  The program does come with considerable administrative costs, so your patience and politeness certainly is appreciated! J
