TESTING SERVICES
Yakima Valley Community College provides a variety of assessments on campus. Testing Services provides the Placement test (COMPASS) and official GED exams.

GED Testing certifies high school level academic skills.
The Compass exam is used for YVCC course placement.
Other types of testing occur in different departments. Click on the links below to be directed to the correct department.
GED PRE-TESTING & CASAS GED pre-testing is for GED preparation classes and CASAS is an Adult Basic Education assessment.
The Student Technology Center provides YVCC eLearning exams and non-YVCC proctored tests for other colleges and organizations.
