Emergency Procedures

The Yakima Valley Community College Emergency Preparedness Plan is designed to give guidance in case of an emergency such as a power failure, medical emergency, fire, bomb threat, earthquake, or violent intruder. The procedures outlined are intended to prevent injury to persons and property. Not all emergencies can be anticipated, so use reasonable and prudent discretion as situations arise.

In the event of an emergency, immediately call 911, and then contact Campus Security at 509.574.4610 for assistance.
