Program Description
The Worker Retraining Program provides training assistance to individuals who are receiving WA State Unemployment Insurance benefits or have lost their jobs due to economic changes and need to change careers in order to re-enter the workforce.
YVCC’s Worker Retraining Program offers training in basic skills and literacy, occupational skills, and vocational education. The Career Connection Center offers a wide range of professional-technical programs within the Workforce Education Division that are available to Worker Retraining students.
