Financing a college education is an investment in the future. Federal and state financial aid programs, as well as privately funded scholarships, are designed to provide the additional financial resources required by students who are seriously interested in attending Yakima Valley Community College but do not have adequate resources to meet the full cost of attendance.
SUBMITTING FORMS: If you need to drop off forms outside our reduced office hours, you may still leave forms at the financial aid desk if a work study student is present; otherwise, please drop off forms at the Registration/Records desk. Forms may also be mailed or faxed to our office.
CONTACTING US: We encourage you to come see us in person in the Deccio Higher Education Center on the Yakima Campus during office hours. Grandview students may visit the Grandview Campus for personal assistance or call Diana Jennings at 509-882-7008.
For those of you who cannot visit either campus, please call us at 509-574-6855. Our phone desk is staffed with student employees who can answer general questions or will take your information and pass it to the appropriate person. Most calls are returned within 24 hours; please allow more time during peak periods such as the week before each quarter and the first two weeks of each quarter.
Please use email as a last resort to contact us, as email will take the longest response time.
