Rico Wilkins wasn’t a starter for Western Washington this past season, but he is a national champion.
Wilkins, who played the 2008-09 season at Yakima Valley and led the Yaks to a third-place finish in the NWAACC Tournament, served as a highly-capable backup to WWU point guard John Allen.
