Program Description
The phrase “high tech” has been tossed around in engineering circles for the past several years, bringing to mind images of super computers, lasers and robotics. Plenty!
Today, civil engineering technicians (CET) and construction design technicians (CDT) are applying computers, global positioning systems, satellite imaging, geographic information systems, and other high-tech developments to every aspect of their work in research, design, construction , and management. This application of high technology is evident in the CET and CDT programs at Yakima Valley Community College.
