All new students must complete the NetID activation process to receive a network login for the YVCC computer labs and Student Email.
- Students that register before 8:00 pm will be able to activate their NetID on the next business day after registering.
- Students that register after 8:00 pm will be able to activate their NetID on the second business day after registering.
During activation:
- To activate Your account you will need your Student ID and date of birth.
- While you are creating your account you will be prompted for a network password.
- After setting your network password you will be given your Outlook Live Login and Password.
- Once you have created your account you can login to Outlook Live.

Be sure to print the page or write down the login information provided during NetID activation!
- Enter your Student ID number
- Verify your identity
- Enter a password (to be used in the computer labs)
- Print the confirmation page or write down all login information Activate your NetID Now!
