All new students must complete the
NetID activation process to receive a network login for the YVCC computer labs and Student Email.

  • Students that register before 8:00 pm will be able to activate their NetID on the next business day after registering.
  • Students that register after 8:00 pm will be able to activate their NetID on the second business day after registering.

During activation:

  • To activate Your account you will need your Student ID and date of birth.
  • While you are creating your account you will be prompted for a network password.
  • After setting your network password you will be given your Outlook Live Login and Password.
  • Once you have created your account you can login to Outlook Live.

ONLINE NETID ACTIVATION STEPS
Be sure to print the page or write down the login information provided during NetID activation!

  • Enter your Student ID number
  • Verify your identity
  • Enter a password (to be used in the computer labs)
  • Print the confirmation page or write down all login information Activate your NetID Now!

Outlook Live – A 10 GB inbox for E-mail,   use the calendar and contacts
  Spaces – Share your world online with blogs, photos, videos, and more
  Messenger – Stay in touch with classmates and study groups using text messages
  Skydrive – 25GB of password-protected storage for projects and photos
