This student support service is designed to recruit high school students by providing informational and parent night meetings at local high schools. Comprehensive services are provided to support and retain students of color or ay student who may require additional assistance at YVCC. Services include YVCC placement testing, assessment, advising, campus tours, referrals, financial-aid assistance, and person and confidential counseling. The program sponsors and provides technical assistance in the promotion of diversity programs on campus. The Outreach and Multicultural Center is located on the YVCC Yakima Campus in the Hopf Union Building (HUB).
