Welcome to Easter Seals Jane's House!
In fall 2002, a 5,400 square foot childcare and early learning facility opened on Nob Hill and 13th Avenue in Yakima, Washington. Part of the campus of Yakima Valley Community College, Easter Seals Jane's House provides care for the children of students, but also staff, faculty, and community members. The center serves up to 77 children ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age.
The children at Jane’s House Early Learning Center are involved in educational activities that are planned with the children’s age and stage of development in mind. The parents of each child are supported in their role as their child’s “first teacher”. There are also nutritious meals served each day that follow the USDA food recommendations.
YVCC has educated and cared for our Valley's children for nearly 30 years. Easter Seals Washington is excited to continue to serve as a model for early learning in the Yakima Valley, and welcome you to tour our facility.
