Community Relations collaborates with college departments to develop
communication and graphic strategies, provides support to institutional initiatives,
and communicates with the communities we serve about YVCC’s commitment to
student success.

Under the direction of the President’s Office, Community Relations serves our
Yakima and Grandview campuses as well as the needs of our learning centers
throughout our service district.

Community Relations efforts are focused on supporting the mission of the
institution. Our core functions include media relations, creative design services,
print and online publications, legislative relations, website design, internal communications, publicity, and public relations.
