 Supports career and technical education that prepares students both for further education and the careers of their choosing.  Perkins funds help ensure that career and technical programs are challenging and integrate academic and technical education to meet the needs of business and industry.

 To expand educational opportunities for and improve the academic attainment of Hispanic students; expand and enhance the academic offerings, program quality, and institutional stability of the colleges and universities that educate the majority of Hispanic students; demonstrate efforts and outcomes related to increasing the enrollment, persistence, and graduation rates of Hispanic students with the understanding that all students are likely to benefit from Title V efforts.
